Hi Reader,
How do I apologize without actually being sorry?
Empathetic about the situation? Certainly.
Sorry? Not exactly.
But if an apology is owed, it’s probably to you—from me. Here’s the skinny:
I’ve been busy on purpose.
Traveling for an entire week with my 9-to-5 is no small task. But in my “downtime,” I also released THREE podcast episodes.
THREE.
I’ve never done that before.
I wanted to try something new—something bingeable, practical, and valuable enough to actually change how you move through your life.
So, somewhere between the chaos of the job and the passion I have for this podcast, I released three episodes…and completely abandoned my weekly email.
Hence the apology that may or may not be happening right now.
But here’s what I’ve been building:
If you’ve followed The FitZen Project for a while, you know my original intention was to bridge yoga and project management in a way that gives you something tangible to use in your actual life.
Not yoga as exercise.
Not project management as spreadsheets.
But yoga as a way to understand yourself—and project management as a way to do something with what you discover.
Because those two practices have helped me create a life I genuinely love: one that feels thoughtful, intentional, and, most importantly, authentic.
Somewhere along the way, I kept reiterating, refining, and redoing the show—hence the six different cover designs in the 1.5 years this thing has been alive.
I refined my guests. I questioned my audience. I became my own biggest critic.
I tried to remove the yoga, but yoga is a pillar of my existence—and it turns out I’m expanding it.
I tried to distance myself from the corporate side of my life, but that work is expanding with me too.
What I’ve finally realized is that I am the paradox where both can be true.
Yoga and strategy.
Soul and structure.
Self-study and courageous action.
The intention behind The FitZen Project never disappeared. The delivery just needed to catch up.
So, over the next few weeks, I’m experimenting with three episodes around one bingeable topic:
1. The conversation: We uncover the pattern.
2. The yoga integration: We slow down long enough to understand it.
3. The project management strategy: We turn that awareness into action.
And last week, Christopher Wesley helped me bring that entire vision to life.
Together, these three episodes help you understand the survival scripts quietly directing your life, recognize when an old pattern starts speaking, and decide what stays, what changes, and what finally gets released.
If you’ve ever thought, “I know what I keep doing—so why do I keep doing it?” this series is for you.
Start here:
→ You Built a Successful Life—So Why Doesn’t It Feel Like Yours?
→ How to Stop People-Pleasing, Perfecting, and Overfunctioning
→ How to Break Old Patterns and Actually Change Your Life
I’m about to FitZen the fuck out of this show—and I’m here this weekend to make sure you don’t miss what I’m creating.
Maybe these emails become a Sunday reflection on the week’s three episodes. Maybe the rhythm evolves as I do.
Either way, I’ll find it.
In the meantime, listen to all three. The value is immeasurable, and together they represent exactly what The FitZen Project was always meant to become.
With all the gratitude,
Rachel
Alignment is the new hustle.
You are your most important project.
P.S. Sometimes your next level isn't another certification or promotion.
Sometimes it's finally trusting yourself.
If that hits... let's talk.
